Course Description: Students work with the instructor and WLC faculty advisors to research, synthesize, write and present their Capstone projects. Students will also complete a Graduation ePortfolio reflecting how each MLO was met. This course is required for all Japanese Language and Culture, and Spanish Language and Hispanic Cultures majors.
Course Narrative: In this course we continued working on our Capstone project and finalizing our ePortfolio. With the help of our WLC professor and our advisor, we were able to continue our research and analyze our resources as we worked on our research paper and capstone presentation. We often scheduled meetings with our advisors to receive feedback on our work and to simply ask for more help if needed. Through our ePortfolio, we are able to show all the courses we have taken to complete our undergraduate education and other work part of the Spanish Language and Hispanic Culture major. This semester our priority was to continue to analyze resources to make sure we answered our research questions and we came to a clear conclusion. This course fulfills the MLO 6 Research and Technology, since we continued to learn about how to conduct appropriate research that relates to our topic specifically. We spent a lot of time in and out class working on our projects and ePortfolio's as we progressed through the semester. Overall, this course is essential to complete our Capstone project as it guides us towards the completion of the project as well as the help from our capstone advisors.
